Nokia In a Sinking Boat

We are all familiar with world's largest cellphone leading company, Nokia. It seems that since Apple launched their iPhone Nokia went through huge crisis. You probably hearing that Nokia is firing many employees every quarter. Their sales is dropping every year. Recent studies shows that net sales dropped 13 percent year-over-year and three percent from Q2, while operating profit plummeted a staggering 60 percent year-over-year and 36 percent since the prior quarter. All told, the company recorded net sales of $12.35 billion, and while things are gloomy in comparison to the glory days, it still has a whopping $7 billion in its coffers. And the good news doesn't end there. The company's shares actually surged on word that the losses weren't as bad as anticipated, and that overall sales beat estimates. I have been a Nokia fan for many years. I personally used many Nokia cellphones and still have them. I will not be happy to see Nokia go out of the competition. If these number will continue to fall and they don't act soon on this. Nokia will extinct from EARTH and APPLE will monopolize the entire world.

Android vs iOS

After the death of Steve jobs the question today is that is apple going to stay the same in terms of its reputation, quality, service, etc.? Second thing that comes to my mind is that will other competitors of apple such as Sony, Google, Nokia, Samsung and many more find this as a good opportunity to compete. Furthermore, the question still remains the same that will apple keep on climbing the stairs of success even without Steve jobs or will it disappear in future? In addition to this, we are all aware about the recent tough competition between iOS and Android and this gives rise to the next question that is that if apple stops all the restrictions such as jailbreak of iOS will anyone buy an apple device in future?

I think I will never go back to apple once they started restricting jailbreaking. I like android much better than iOS. Android will improve in future and it is going to be a tough competition between iOS and Android. In near future if Apple keeps its same behavior it will lose lots of fans like me who enjoy having unlimited tweaks on their phone. At that point I will not hesitate to switch to Android. Sorry Apple!
